United States Super Trucks - News & Notes

USST returns to I-44 Speedway in Lebanon,MO.

USST is pleased to announce the return to I-44 Speedway in Lebanon, MO. It has been 10 years since USST trucks roared around the fast 3/8 banked oval. In 2002, USST trucks raced in front of a packed house of fans for what would be the last race before a new track owner changed the surface to dirt. We are excited to see the track back to asphalt and being successfully promoted. USST trucks from Missouri, Oklahoma, Kansas, and Texas will have a nice 3/8 mile option to race on. The key event of 2012 will be a one day Saturday race on May 26th of Memorial Day Weekend. This gives racers two days to visit the lake of the Ozarks or Branson areas after the race. More details about this event will be announced when scheduling is complete.

USST National Series Begins preparing for the 2012 Season‏

Ever since the CRA Super Late Model Series made their announcement 2 weeks ago that they would not be attending the All American 400 weekend at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway, we have been trying to work with the Track on rescheduling our final event of the 2011 Season. After extending our deadline multiple times, I am sorry to report at this time that we have made the decision to conclude the 2011 USST National Series Season as of today and begin working diligently on our 2012 Season Plans. There were too many questions surrounding the rescheduling date and we were unable to get the Track to commit to the event so that our Teams had ample time to prepare. We felt it in the best interest of our Teams in these tough economic times to not put you in the position of spending your hard earned money without a strong commitment from the Track. We would like to congratulate Allen Carter and J&D Chassis on their 2011 USST National Series Championship and his unprecedented accomplishment of sweeping all 3 USST National Series Presented by Safety Kleen Events. Over the coming weeks we will be announcing our 2011 Contingency Sponsor Award Winners as well as recognizing our Teams and Sponsors for their support. We are extremely grateful for for your support this year and we will be keeping you informed of our 2012 Schedule and Plans as information becomes available. Follow us on Facebook and we look forward to an even better 2012 Season of Super Truck Racing.
